IsDB Provides €116.6 Million Financing for Mauritania

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group has granted Mauritania financing worth €116.6 million to support projects in the health and energy sectors.
 Mauritania's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Development stated that the financing includes two agreements. The first, valued at €61.4 million, will fund the construction and equipment of an integrated referral hospital for maternal, neonatal, and child health in the capital, Nouakchott.
 The second agreement, valued at €55.2 million, will support a project to connect the electricity grid between Mauritania and Mali.
 The project also includes establishing solar power stations linked to the grid.
