KSrelief Launches Emergency Food and Shelter Aid Distribution in Yemen's Hadhramaut
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched yesterday the distribution of emergency food and shelter assistance in Hadhramaut Governorate, as part of the second phase of the emergency food interventions project in Yemen.
The distribution includes 5,760 food baskets, 635 tents, and 78 shelter kits, benefiting 38,000 individuals from affected and most vulnerable families, to enhance food security for beneficiary families, helping meet their basic needs, and providing suitable shelter for families affected by recent heavy rains and flooding.
Hadhramaut Deputy Governor Hassan Al-Jilani praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, in enhancing food security for the most vulnerable groups, emphasizing the importance of distributing this assistance to alleviate the suffering of needy families ahead of Eid Al-Adha.
The initiative comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects and programs provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to improve living conditions for the Yemeni people.
