Saudi Energy Deploys Body Cams, Smart Bracelets, Firefighting Robots for Operational Safety at Holy Sites

Saudi Energy has deployed an advanced system of smart technologies and solutions during this year's Hajj season to strengthen operational safety and enhance field readiness at the holy sites. The system is designed to support rapid response, business continuity and efficient emergency management.
 The company has activated the live-streaming feature for body cams through a secure and isolated digital infrastructure operating under approved cybersecurity protocols. The system supports operations centers and improves the management of field incidents, with streaming data and operational servers managed within the company's private digital environment to ensure reliable and rapid access to information during field operations.
 Smart bracelets have been also introduced for field personnel to continuously monitor vital signs through a digital system that enables geolocation tracking and sends instant alerts to the security, safety and crisis-management operations center when needed. The bracelets also feature an emergency SOS function to support rapid preventive response and immediate handling of emergencies.
 Strengthening its operational readiness, Saudi Energy has deployed specialized firefighting robots to respond to fire incidents, helping reduce direct risks to field teams and improve the efficiency of emergency intervention. The robots are supported by thermal and fixed surveillance cameras linked to a live broadcasting system within the command-and-control center, enabling faster assessment and decision-making during incidents.
 The company further reinforced its security system with fixed, mobile and long-range surveillance cameras covering vital sites connected to the electricity network. The cameras are equipped with AI technologies capable of automatically detecting security indicators and unusual situations, helping enhance safety and field preparedness.
 These smart technologies and solutions are part of Saudi Energy's efforts to develop a more efficient, flexible and reliable operational system.
