Winners Honored in Fifth Edition of Children's Recitation Challenge
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language and the Ministry of Education honored the winners of the fifth edition of the "Children's Recitation Challenge" at a closing ceremony attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, parents, and others interested in the field.
Targeting Arabic-speaking children aged five to 12 globally, the competition aims to develop public speaking and rhetorical skills through reciting classical Arabic poetry. The fifth edition drew more than 9,000 children from 28 countries, culminating in the honoring of 60 winning boys and girls, along with five promising talents.
The ceremony included a documentary presentation on the fifth edition's milestones and artistic performances celebrating the young participants' linguistic achievements. Across its five editions, the challenge has engaged over 24,000 children from more than 40 countries, underscoring its expanding international reach.
