Arab League Council Convenes 164th Ordinary Session

The 164th ordinary session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives convened yesterday at the Arab League General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo as preparation for the upcoming meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled for Thursday.
 Chaired by the United Arab Emirates, the meeting was attended by Arab League Assistant Secretary-General Ambassador Hossam Zaki.
 The Kingdom’s delegation was led by Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar.
 The meeting discussed developments in the Arab region and explored mechanisms to address current regional challenges, with the aim of strengthening Arab national security and protecting shared strategic interests.
