Seoul to Host King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Translation Award Ceremony

The General Secretariat of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation announced that its 11th award ceremony will be held on September 30 in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in cooperation with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, with Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan attending.
 Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of the King Abdulaziz Public Library Faisal bin Muammar stated that the translation award plays a vital role in advancing the Saudi Vision 2030, particularly by fostering knowledge and global engagement.
 The award, presented by the King Abdulaziz Public Library, received 226 nominations in its 11th session, covering translated works, institutions, and individuals across 12 languages from 26 countries. It has attracted applications from more than 60 countries and approximately 7,127 translated works in 45 languages.
