Shura Council Delegation Meets Mauritanian National Assembly Speaker

A delegation of Shura Council members from the Saudi-Mauritanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, headed by Shura Council Member and Committee Chairman Dr. Fahd Al-Takhaifi, met Speaker of the Mauritanian National Assembly Mohamed Bamba Meguett at the assembly’s headquarters during the delegation’s official visit to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
 During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them, particularly in areas related to parliamentary cooperation. They also discussed topics of mutual interest.
 During the visit, the Shura Council delegation met members of the counterpart parliamentary friendship committee at the Mauritanian National Assembly. The two sides reviewed cooperation ties and discussed strengthening parliamentary and legislative collaboration between the Shura Council and the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in a manner that serves the two brotherly countries and peoples.
