Jazan's Mountain Peaks Offer Stunning Panoramic Views in Southern Saudi Arabia

Jazan Region stands out for its natural diversity and environmental richness, helping establish it as a top tourist destination in southern Saudi Arabia, thanks to its integrated tourism and investment components that reflect geographical harmony and a variety of attractions.
The mountainous areas in Jazan are among the most prominent features of this diversity, characterized by breathtaking natural beauty, where green peaks merge with mist in captivating panoramic scenes that showcase remarkable environmental and geographical variety. This makes it a promising tourist destination, with scenic mountain parks and natural waterfalls that add a sense of excitement and adventure.
The mountainous governorates in the region exemplify natural richness and investment potential, with the peaks of Al-Dayer Bani Malik, Al-Aridah, Al-Edabi, and Fayfa governorates rising between 2,000 and 3,000 meters above sea level and forming several prominent ranges.
These highlands offer captivating views with scenic landscapes and a moderate climate, hosting dense forests rich in plant and wildlife. They are home to various birds and wild animals, alongside inhabited villages and terraced farms producing a variety of crops. In other areas, rugged terrains with towering peaks and steep slopes attract climbing and adventure enthusiasts, as well as lovers of historical and natural sites, including ancient inscriptions dating back thousands of years and traditional stone-built villages that have preserved their authentic architectural character.
The development of these areas receives continuous attention from the leadership as part of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, through supporting tourism and agricultural projects, developing infrastructure, and enhancing the investment environment, contributing to attracting capital and diversifying the local economy.
