
Madinah Islamic University Launches Initiative to Support Applied Interdisciplinary Research
The Islamic University of Madinah has launched an initiative to support applied interdisciplinary research aimed at fostering research projects across vital and contemporary fields to develop innovative solutions for both local and global challenges.
The university encouraged faculty members and graduate students to take advantage of the initiative and review the application criteria on its website during the application period, which ends on July 31, 2025.
The initiative aims to strengthen interdisciplinary scientific research in key areas such as AI, digital future economics, sustainability, Islamic banking, the halal industry, and Madinah’s infrastructure. It seeks to enhance both the quality and quantity of research published in scientific databases, elevate the university’s standing, and expand the reach of its knowledge locally and internationally.
