ROSHN Group Breaks Ground on ALMANAR Project, Marking Notable Development in Makkah

Under the patronage of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, ROSHN Group, Saudi Arabia’s leading multi-asset class real estate developer and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has held the groundbreaking ceremony for ALMANAR, its inaugural fully integrated residential community in Makkah.

 The event, held at the project site, was attended by Mayor of Makkah Musad Aldaood, CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites Eng. Saleh Al-Rasheed, CEO of the General Real Estate Authority Eng. Abdullah Al-Hammad, and Acting CEO of ROSHN Group Dr. Khalid Johar, along with other prominent figures from the public and private sectors. Attendees toured the show villas and learned about the diverse residential typologies available, underscoring this significant milestone in ROSHN’s mission to transform urban development and enhance the quality of life across the Kingdom.

 The ALMANAR community spans 21 million square meters and includes over 33,000 residential units. Its design aligns with ROSHN’s vision of creating people-centric developments that prioritize residents’ needs, featuring sustainable and vibrant living spaces integrated with nature and expansive green areas.
