NWC Completes Main Water Lines Project in Riyadh at SAR81 Million
As part of the second phase of the strategic water plan for Riyadh, the National Water Company (NWC) announced the completion of a main water lines project at a total cost exceeding SAR81 million.
The project involved extending main water lines of various diameters, totaling over 48 kilometers, to serve 40,000 residents in Areedh district, southern Riyadh. NWC noted that the project is part of its ongoing efforts to implement strategic plans to develop infrastructure in the water and environmental services sectors.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects and enhancing operational efficiency. These initiatives aim to improve service quality, keep pace with growing water demand, and align with the comprehensive urban development underway in Riyadh. NWC further emphasized that these efforts aim to achieve the company's strategic goal of providing sustainable water services in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
