Tabuk Region Leads the Kingdom in Quail Production with Over 30 Million Birds Annually
Tabuk Region continues to lead in quail production and breeding, driven by a landmark project and advanced technologies that have enhanced production efficiency and expanded supply to local and export markets. Monthly production exceeds 2.5 million birds, equivalent to 30 million birds annually, alongside the production of around four million table eggs per year, reflecting growing production capacity and the region's role in supporting food supply chains.
Quail products cover all regions of the Kingdom and are exported to several regional markets, with the highest standards of food quality and safety applied. Quail meat is rich in high-quality protein and low in fat, while quail eggs contain high levels of vitamins and minerals, making them a healthy choice for consumers.
This growth reflects the success of investments in modern technologies and national talent, enhancing the competitiveness of Saudi products and supporting the sustainability of the food sector.
