Jazan's Women Brew Bold Flavors and Rich Traditions on International Coffee Day

On International Coffee Day, the women of Jazan took center stage, celebrating the rich heritage of Saudi coffee with a unique blend of authenticity and creativity.

 Women in Jazan excel at preparing Saudi coffee as a complete social and cultural ritual. Their expertise shines through in the careful selection of the finest Khawlani coffee beans, known for their cultivation in the region’s mountainous provinces.

 They add their distinctive touch by blending the coffee with traditional spices such as cardamom, ginger, saffron, cloves, and cinnamon, resulting in a bold flavor and fragrant aroma. The preparation process takes between 30 and 40 minutes and varies from one governorate to another.

 In recent years, Jizani coffee has become a cornerstone of the region’s tourism experience, allowing visitors to savor this rich tradition in local cafes, adding an authentic and flavorful dimension to the area's cultural tourism.
