SDAIA President Inspects Technical Readiness at the Kingdom’s Ports

Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) President Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi inspected the operational and technical readiness of the Kingdom's air, land, and sea ports designated for receiving pilgrims this year during a virtual meeting with the engineering and technical teams overseeing these facilities.

 Al-Ghamdi reviewed the processes aimed at streamlining procedures and coordinating efforts with relevant government agencies regarding Hajj operations at the ports. This included ensuring that pilgrims could pass through efficiently and in record time, as well as preparing sites equipped with advanced technical systems to support the work of field authorities. Additionally, emphasis was placed on implementing preventive measures to ensure the continuous functionality and effectiveness of these systems throughout the Hajj season.

 During the meeting, the SDAIA president stressed the importance of maintaining high efficiency and collaborating with relevant government agencies to guarantee a seamless and secure experience for pilgrims. He highlighted that the use of data and artificial intelligence in managing entry points and crowd control underscores SDAIA’s commitment to achieving these objectives.
