
Four Academic Programs at Princess Nourah University Receive UNWTO Accreditation
Four academic programs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University received accreditation from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO–TedQual) for the period from September 15, 2025, to September 15, 2028.
The accredited programs include the Bachelor Arts in Tourism Guidance in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and three programs in the Applied College: Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management, Diploma in Hospitality Management, and Diploma in Culinary Arts.
This accreditation reflects the efforts of the colleges to meet internationally recognized quality standards, covering study plans, infrastructure and educational support, management mechanisms, faculty selection processes, and alignment of program content with the needs of the tourism sector.
The international accreditation, granted in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, ensures that academic programs are aligned with global education standards and labor market requirements. It also integrates academic knowledge with professional practice, preparing graduates with internationally recognized competencies that enable them to compete locally and globally.
