GEOSA Wins Two International Awards at GovMedia Conference

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) achieved a global accomplishment by winning two international awards in the “Maritime and Ports” category during the GovMedia Conference and Awards held in Singapore with the participation of government entities from around the world.

 The authority received the Infrastructure Award for its “Marine Geospatial Data Infrastructure” project and the Research and Development Award for its “Hydrographic Marine Survey of the Area from Ras Al-Khair to Khafji in the Arabian Gulf.”

 These achievements affirm Saudi Arabia’s leadership in developing national geospatial infrastructure and highlight the authority’s pivotal role in organizing and advancing the geospatial and surveying sector in line with international standards and best global practices, reflecting its commitment to enhancing efficiency and innovation in the vital field.
