Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University Achieves Elite Global Rankings
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) in Al-Kharj achieved the prestigious "Triple Crown" university status, marking a significant international academic milestone. The recognition follows its debut in the QS World University Rankings 2026 within the 721–730 band globally, positioning it among the top 10 Saudi universities. The Triple Crown is awarded to institutions recognized across the three leading global academic rankings: Times Higher Education (THE), Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), and QS.
The university's excellence extends to key QS indicators, where it secured 109th globally and third among Saudi universities for international faculty, academic diversity, and international research network, underscoring its growing national and global influence. Furthermore, PSAU received funding for seven research proposals from the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority (RDIA) in 2024, and its commitment to research and innovation aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goal of transitioning towards an integrated knowledge-based economy.
PSAU has been ranked among the top 100 universities globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, excelling in UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to quality education and gender equality. As one of the first Saudi universities to achieve this combination of prestigious international rankings, PSAU's continuous efforts to elevate higher education, develop academic programs, and enhance its research and innovation ecosystem are vital contributions to the national economy and Vision 2030.
