Saudi Water Authority Launches Non-Potable Water Production License via Online Platform
The Saudi Water Authority has announced the launch of the non-potable water production license through its non-networked water services as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate water sector activities in the Kingdom and enhance the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
This step aims to regulate the practice of water production activities, enable beneficiaries to verify the reliability of the service provided to them through licensed providers, and offer comprehensive regulatory coverage for this activity, in addition to improving service quality and enhancing the operational efficiency standards of service providers.
The license allows applicants to engage in non-potable water production activities after meeting all the technical and regulatory requirements set by the authority, ensuring compliance with approved rules and standards.
The authority reiterated its commitment to continuing the development of the regulatory framework for water service activities and empowering service providers and beneficiaries through an advanced regulatory environment that supports operational efficiency and ensures service sustainability.
The authority invited those wishing to obtain the license to apply via its online platform through the following link: https://www.swa.gov.sa/en/services/request-non-networked-water-license.
