
HRH the Crown Prince, Palestinian President Discuss Latest Developments, Efforts to Support Palestinian Cause
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a phone call today from President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
At the start of the call, President Abbas expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s efforts and principled positions, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince, which led many countries to commit to recognizing the State of Palestine. He also commended the Kingdom’s leadership for its intensive efforts to coordinate positions to secure the broadest international support for the Palestinian cause during the New York conference, and for its consistent stance and ongoing efforts to stand with the Palestinian people and their just cause.
They also reviewed developments in Gaza Strip and their security and humanitarian ramifications.
HRH the Crown Prince reaffirmed the Kingdom's condemnation of the crimes, brutal practices, and attempts at forced displacement committed against the Palestinian people, and stressed the need for the international community to end the catastrophic consequences of this aggression and protect civilians.
