Baggage Sorting, Coding Service at Makkah Route Initiative Terminal in Morocco Simplifies Procedures
Pilgrims in the Kingdom of Morocco expressed their admiration for the baggage sorting and coding service provided by the Makkah Route Initiative at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca.
This service allows pilgrims to have their baggage delivered directly to their accommodations in Makkah and Madinah, based on their transportation and lodging arrangements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without the need for any procedures or waiting at King Abdulaziz or Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz international airports.
The coding process, carried out by a specialized team under the supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, begins with sorting the baggage of beneficiaries of the Makkah Route Initiative and labeling it with flight details, pilgrim information, and places of residence. The label is then attached to the passport cover, and the pilgrim receives a card displaying the same information as the baggage label.
